I continue to believe that Ava is the strongest little girl I know. She is in pain almost daily with her shoulder and/or tummy. As a mother, it is so hard to not be able to do anything for her pain. I am so very proud of her. She pushes through. She goes to school. I asked her today, “Did it hurt today when you were at school?”

She replied, “Yes. But I ask myself…Should I go home?  Should I stay? I don’t want to miss homework!”
