Lucy Szajnuk spending the night in observation at Primary Children’s

Gina Szajnuk: Lucy has had a fever the past three days. It has been as high as 106 degrees. Her white blood cell count this morning was 31,000 (they get concerned over 15,000).  We ruled out pneumonia, urinary tract infection and kidney infection.  We had an ultrasound to rule out appendicitis. However, they could not find her appendix. At this time, they do not have an answer for us. We will be spending the night in observation. Hopefully, we will learn more tomorrow from her blood cultures.

Thank you for your continued support, love and prayers.

Much love,

Gina
