Stephanie Valdez: “Just wanted to give everyone an update on Harlie’s AMAZING progress. She had a crazy, busy week last week with her schedule of therapies. She is now in inpatient rehab. And, they can monitor her medical needs as well. She was able to walk 30 feet with assistance and batted while in the stander.
Her blood levels have been staying fairly stable:-)
The casts was not a success so some time in the future when she is more medically stable we will have to think about surgery to get her feet flat if braces don’t work. She did get quite a few visits and thank you so much, they really lifted her spirits:-)
Got a surprise visit from university of Utah softball coach Maggie and catcher Gabriela and pitcher Mariah . They came at the end of therapy and watched her bat and spent time visiting and brought her a cool backpack with some nice U of U shirts and visor.. Thank you so much Angelina for making that happen:-)
She was able to have ride passes for a few hours out of hospital and get some new outfits and spend some time at home with her Boo Boo:-) and family…
It was bittersweet we loved being home but hating having to come back to hospital…
So proud of her hard work and determination to beat this. She has a life threatening disease but she will beat it with the fight and determination in her and her faith in God.
Keep fighting baby girl you got this!!! So proud of you💕💕💕💕
Thank you for all the love, support and encouraging words and prayers..
