First of all I would like to wish all those beautiful amazing women out there a Happy Mothers Day💕 love you Mom ( Mary Lou) I was blessed to spend it with my family here at the hospital.im blessed to be the mother of my beautiful, sweet, independent, smart, caring, considerate 3 daughters Aleshia,C’era,Harlie..and lucky to have an amazing son in law (Dustin)
.. 2 beautiful granddaughters that are my sunshine a:-) (Audrea,Adalaya)
They have taught me and inspired me to be the person I am today.. I’ve learned a lot from them..
Update on Harlie this week they allowed her to have five bites of food 3 times a day.. It has made Harlies spirits lift and she seems to be getting stronger:-) today was the first time in a long time her blood went up instead of dropping.she has been happy and laughing this week which she hasn’t done in a long time. She even called us over to the bed one night and lifted her arms for a big hug!! She hasn’t been able to lift her arms and hasn’t been able to tolerate a hug because her body in so much pain.. It was the best hug ever!!:-)
She had an X-ray done on her back this week they was worried about spinal fractures in her back due to being on steroids for a long time and her back always hurts. They didn’t see any so they will probably do more tests this week to find out why so much pain. She is working hard in physical therapy even though she is in a lot of pain to build and regain some muscle in legs and arms she has lost so much muscle in shoulders they are coming out of socket.
They are also thinking about doing MRI of brain this week to see if there’s anything causing her confusion at times or her forgetting things.
They are also considering casting her ankles this weak to stretch them out because she has drop foot. Tomorrow will be treatment day again with 1000 mg of steroids and methotrexate, praying all goes well.. So a lot of progress this week but a long road to go, but if anyone can do it its my little fighter Harlie..
Thank you for all your love and support and prayers and encouraging words. We are eternally grateful.
