Update on Harlie Valdez. She is still at Primary Children’s Hospital
I visited Harlie and Stephanie yesterday. I am so very concerned for Harlie. I brought her a few fun things to do to take her mind of off her pain and living in the hospital. Please send your prayers her way. Her mother is being so strong and I am very proud to have met this family. Much, much love to Harlie and her family.

Here’s the latest update on Harlie.. She is still in extreme stomach pain and up every 2 hours vomiting and diarrhea the same as when we brought her in the ER over a week ago. They have tried 3 different antibiotics and it hasn’t touched it so they brought in the GI team today and they want to rule out anything else before doing a scope, doing a scope on her is very risky right now because of her high risk of perforation and he said he will do it if he has too but worried about it. So they will try resting the gut for 24/48 hours ( no feeds or anything going thru gut and also wants to check her pancreas with a blood test..”

Facebook friends, family and loved ones. I am asking for something a little bit different today because my family is need of help. As you all know my “future” sister Harlie Valdez has been at primary children’s hospital for two weeks now. D…uring this two weeks she has been tested over 100 different times, had a biopsy and many other painful and difficult exams and procedures. At this point she has stunned the medical field with them not being able to figure out what is wrong with her and make a for sure diagnose. Harlie is struggling with difficulty walking, loss of eye sight and difficulty with every muscle in her body. She is also suffering from high blood pressure, as well as kidney and liver troubles. They are leaning toward autoimmune disease called Dermatomyositis. They are only about 50% sure this is what it is and in the meantime the testing continues. With all of this healthcare comes great cost and expense. Today we have found out that Harlies health care is running out. Today I am asking from you to help my family get through this difficult time. I have set up a donation account at ZIONS BANK under HARLIE RAE VALDEZ.
