RUN’s NBA Initiative: 30 Rare & Undiagnosed Children invited for NBA Utah Jazz Appearance

Thank you Boris Diaw for donating 60 tickets through the player donation program to RUN!

RUN is currently looking for thirty rare and undiagnosed children to make an appearance on the court with the NBA Utah Jazz during their National Anthem on Friday, March 3rd at 7:00p. This is a very blessed opportunity to raise awareness for the rare and undiagnosed community. The tickets were donated by the Utah Jazz through their player donation program. We have tickets for one child accompanied by one adult. We will have you meet in the Will Call area to meet with our Jazz contact. You will be escorted together and brought onto the court right before the National Anthem. It is an incredible experience to watch your child during the singing of the National Anthem alongside the NBA players and coaches.

The seats for during the game are upper level and there is no handicap seating available. If you have a child in a wheelchair, they can still be on the court for the National Anthem appearance. If you are interested in having your child on the court, please email me at ginaszajnuk@gmail.com. If you have had this opportunity in a previous year, please still feel free to email me. I’m looking for new families but also families that have supported RUN and Utah Rare the last few years.

We will be honoring Utah Rare, a coalition of rare disease stakeholders in Utah coming together to raise awareness for Rare Disease Day®, which is organized by the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD).
